Our paths have crossed many ministries in our local area and God continues to allow us opportunities to assist them either by volunteering with a local church or being able to assist their needs. As we receive Blessings from our Father, we strive to be obedient in where He wishes each item to find it’s home. Some of the ministries have received shoes, clothing, food, personal hygiene products, detergent, bleach, blankets, canteens, water bottles, bibles, witnessing material, crafts for children, children’s books, and paper products. Each of these ministries or facilities play such an important part in the Kingdom of God. The ministries range from children’s homes – shelters. Thank you for making a difference in our local communities.

Since 2011, Putting Prayers to Action had acted as a local food bank to other ministries, outreaches and families. There are many families who need food to sustain them for the week. Putting Prayers to Action is able to give them a hand up, instead of a handout. We provide food and supplies to ease the hardship they may be going through. Many families fall between the crack of receiving assistance. We are able to assist these families, when other agencies aren’t able to assist. Putting Prayers to Action also provides food, personal hygiene items, and supplies to different children’s homes, churches, ministries, outreaches, shelters and schools who do not have their own food pantries enabling them to assist their families in need in their communities.
We envision expansion of Putting Prayers to Action Gods Storehouse of Hope & Love throughout Kentucky to assist the poverty within our state.
Putting Prayers to Action relies on the collected data from each of the partnering agencies. We then determined how much food can be given to each agency if needed and based on Putting Prayers to Action’s families need. Our families are located in throughout Kentucky, we feel consistent collaboration increases attendance and strengthen our relationship with our families. We use a one call system to keep our families informed of distribution.
Since 2011, Gods Storehouse of Hope & Love Food Bank has reached 47,876 families in Kentucky. These experiences have provided our volunteers with opportunities to develop skills in the following areas: leadership, self-confidence and self-respect, trust, sense of responsibility for self, others, the community, critical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making, as well as, made them environmental stewards within their own community.
New Addition to our Team, Puppets for Jesus Team
God has brought creative ministry into the ministry in way of puppets & clowns. I Praise God for David & Teresa for working with the youth to help them prepare for ministering in Eastern KY. I am so proud of each of the youth. Many years ago, Trace & I were involved with creative ministry, but as the ministry of the church stop, so did we. Thank you Father for allowing the Blessing of seeing both my children in this creative ministry for You. It does a mothers heart good to see their children perform and enjoy serving our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you to all the youth for the sore arms, the hand cramps, long practices and patience with all of us adults. I Praise God for Paula Haynes and the clown team which took time to train our team. Sometimes God takes us out of our comfort zone in order to revive a New Spirit within us. Many times we get comfortable in ministry, a routine. I Praise God for allowing us to bring creative ministry into the Mission Team, because it has brought the kid out in all of us. It has been a new refreshing & renewal of His Holy Spirit in an amazing way! Thanks to my sister & brother-n-law, Sharon & John Carter for making the clown costumes and for John modeling them.We love you & we are SO…..Proud of you all. Keep Serving The Lord With All Your Might!
