Putting Prayers to Action Other Ministries

Bags for Soldiers Ministry.  Thank you to Our Soldiers who are fighting for our Country & Our Freedom. You are in our Thoughts & Prayers! May God Bless you & Protect you as you Serve & May He comfort & provide the Peace that surpasses all understanding to your family back home. May God provide you & your families the encouragement & support you need daily.

Suggested items: Crystal light (singles), granola bars, wet ones, hard candy, packages of gum, beef jerky, slim jims, trail mix, fruit snacks, cookies, personal hygiene (hotel size), razors, Old/ New magazines, puzzle books, etc. Anything will be appreciated!

Four different schools participated and had their students to write letters or make cards for each soldier. They were then folded and one was placed in each bag. Each bag contains: personal hygiene items, toothpaste, toothbrush, dental floss, Lamisil, q-tips, wet ones, water flavoring, razor, candy, items of encouragement & Faith, flag cup holder & a small 6″ flag, small note pad, Bookmark (A Soldiers Prayer), Soldier gospel tract and each bag received a letter from a child. Plus, they each were filled with our Love & Prayers!

Each unit we are sending too, will receive a box of snacks. Some of the units will receive more than 1 box, since there are many in the unit.  We mailed 485 Soldier Bags in June 2011. Thank you to all who helped. See photos of the cards and assembling the boxes at our Shutterfly Album Boxes For Soldiers.
